Cylindrical folding roof, whose opening is made by means of steel arms on axes of rotation.
The roof is made up of two movable parts that can be folded to opposite sides in lacquered aluminium, which pivot on rotation axes leaving 100% of the useful surface of the observatory open.
The interior of all our domes is matt black, thus avoiding the reflection of unwanted lights in the optics. This opening system is especially recommended when a total vision of the sky is required and a quick response is needed in the movement of the mount without the dome interfering with this movement when it is already open.
The dimensions of the ceiling are those indicated for a square room of 180×180 cm. Having external dimensions of 190×190 cm dividing the width in two equal parts. The outer covering of the aluminium is made of aluminium composite with a resin interior, thus guaranteeing both aesthetics and permeability to air and water.
All the ceilings, as well as the domes are delivered disassembled and packaged for later assembly, having been previously assembled and tested in our facilities. The instruction manual supplied with the goods is clear and intuitive so that assembly is easy for anyone with a minimum of knowledge and skills.
